Arthar
A chrome monogram with a single colour in the entire set.

Context
A mark in a sober register, where the material has to do the work colour would. The challenge is holding presence without leaning on a palette: badly resolved chrome turns to plastic, and badly spaced serif turns generic.
What we did
A and R interlocked in a chrome monogram, with the bevels drawn so the reflection runs along the diagonal of the stroke. The emerald at the top is the only colour in the whole piece, and it is what keeps the set from going grey. The serif below comes in letterspaced, to breathe under the weight of the monogram.
Result
One colour, used as accent rather than fill, carries the whole set. The monogram separates from the lockup without losing identity, which is what makes small applications possible.
